Lighting systems should be serviced once every two years at a minimum. This service should include lamp/bulb replacement, lens cleaning and fixture adjustment. Even though bulbs may last longer than two years… the illumination that they put out is no longer brilliant or at peek performance. Some of your planting may be more mature now than it was at the time the lighting system was installed, which may mean that fixtures need to be moved.
